UPSKILLING U PARTS COUNTER

Parts counter notes

Measure the interface. Then choose the part.

A familiar silhouette is a starting point, never a fit decision.

Thread-neck suction strainer — Stainless woven mesh; steel cage; threaded metal neck
Woven mesh basket and threaded neck: a suction-strainer construction, not a pleated flow-line cartridge.

01 / Begin with the removed part and documentation

Fit is not established by a machine name or a similar photograph. For teeth, compare adapter pocket geometry, taper, mounting face, pin or lock seat and fastener clearances. For filters, compare housing and element dimensions, thread or spigot, seal seats and material, and the equipment maker’s circuit requirements. No universal compatibility, filtration efficiency, micron/beta rating or operating pressure is claimed. Do not install until the housing/adapter requirements have been confirmed.

02 / Separate tooth constructions

The broad horizontal-pin wedge, narrow cross-pin penetration point, forked twin point, bolt-on flare and recessed-lock chisel are different interfaces and profiles. A longer tooth is not automatically an upgrade. Record pocket width and height, the taper along its length, pin direction and the offset of the seat. On a bolt-on heel, measure hole centers and mounting-face contact. Retainers are not included.

03 / Separate element mountings

Spin-on uses a central thread and face gasket. The return cartridge uses an open core and end seals. The mesh suction strainer has a threaded neck. The partially supported cartridge has a sealed lower spigot and an additional side port; compare both seats. The tank breather mounts to a reservoir vent, not a flow-line filter head. Do not swap categories because two cylinders share a similar diameter.

04 / Keep unsupported ratings out of the decision

Our dimensions describe the listed parts. They do not establish tested media efficiency, micron rating, beta ratio, allowable pressure or oil compatibility. Obtain the requirements from the actual equipment and housing documentation. A missing critical requirement must be resolved before fulfilment and installation.

05 / Inspect and isolate

Measure only when equipment is isolated and safe. Never reach beneath an unsupported attachment. Relieve hydraulic pressure by the manufacturer’s procedure, keep open ports clean and avoid mixing used and clean elements. Do not grind an incompatible tooth or force a mismatched thread.

FAQ / Is a pin or housing supplied?

No. Each tooth is supplied alone without adapter, pin, rotary lock or bolts. Each filter listing is one element or strainer, without a separate housing or tools. Check Included on the product page.

FAQ / What happens after checkout?

We receive your request and contact you to confirm the fit requirements, selection, availability and bank-transfer amount. Keep the actual reference for changes. USD · applicable tax included. Delivery $18.95; free from $250. Contiguous US + DC. Preparation 1–2 + transit 3–5 business days (4–7 total) after fit and payment confirmation. Bank transfer after written confirmation.

FAQ / Can I return a part that does not fit?

Contact us within 30 days of delivery, before installing or contaminating it. A change-of-mind label is $18.95; restocking is $0. Confirmed supply errors and defects follow separate remedies at our expense.
